Re: NHL Transactions - Injuries and More Injuries

Staal has the ability to be a 30-30 guy if played in a more offensively-oriented role. I'm not worried about him being as productive as Kulemin. The thing which makes me most uneasy is who does Staal play with? Kulemin, along with Grabovski and MacArthur represents and entire line which we know is e...

Afraid may be witnessing the death of of the greatest sports players of this generation. The guy isn't even 25. That's 10 100+ point seasons he could still put up.

Re: Finally going to do the whole smart phone thing...

The question is why do you feel you want one? It seems you're primarily into the culture, rather than the technical distinction, of a smartphone, and if that is the case, then the iPhone is kitsch. The Android has that real innovative, up-and-coming google, human revolution vibe to it, so it's about...

Re: NHL Transactions - Injuries and More Injuries

Ya ideally Jersey plays Kovalchuk and Parise on separate lines. Each is best on the LW. I really liked the Parise - Zajac - Zubrus line. Haven't watched Jersey enough to notice who exactly works well with Kovalchuk. Larsson? Guy seems to have all the tools to be an offensive defenseman in the NHL, a...

Re: NHL Transactions - Injuries and More Injuries

Travis Zajac out 8-10 weeks with surgery to repair achilles tendon Wow. I've always thought going into this season that Jersey would not make the playoffs. Their back-end is just not good enough. I said the same thing about Tampa Bay, but I don't think Jersey's big-three, in Kovalchuk, Elias and Pa...

Re: NHL Transactions - Injuries and More Injuries

I could see Brunnstrom having success in Detroit, but at this point their depth should have him competing for but a 13th forward role. A return to Dallas could even make sense. They have a terrible bottom-six going into this season. Who ARE you. Hiiii, I'm Dutch Dreams, from Broads. I also went by ...

Re: TOR/WSH - Russian Roulette

When I first saw Grabner what I was actually most impressed by was his ability to read and anticipate the play in the offensive zone. His speed to me was more of an afterthought, as his primary ability as a hockey player was clearly his offensive hockey sense. His speed obviously helps him out in th...
