Fair enough, although I agree 25 is steep, I disagree regarding the others when you take all available criteria into consideration.

Amount of hockey played (cleanly)
Injury (to victim)
Prior suspension - similar suspensions
Number of rules broken
Part of or resulting from the play

I actually don't mind the job Shanny has been doing, this Torres suspension seems large-ish, but nothing I'd complain about; and the wiz hit to start the season was an outlier in punishment. But clearly multi-priors are a multiplier, more then a couple of extra add ons.

His hit vs. Seabrook in last years playoffs was 10x worse than this one, and he got no suspension at all.

Keith's hit on Sedin, compared to this, should have been a 100 game suspension.

What a retarded hit to use to make an example. I realize he has priors, but still.. Dumb.[/quote]

I am biased but I could not agree more. He has history but this has nothing on keiths hit lol.

How's that? Keith threw an elbow... that's it; yes it's dirty, ye it deserved 5 games.

Not the same devastation or potential injury as this hit...

Don't really care to be honest.

You guys seem to REALLY want us to care though.

PS. Torres suspension is a fucking joke. 25 games? ROFL.

I like the amount of 25 games, but if I were Torres i'd be fucking furious with it compared to everyone else's suspensions. This is a suspension to send a msg to Torres and no one else.

I'm totally taken back by no Neil suspension... was that not blind side to the head?

Pre-season call of LAK vs PHI final is looking legit. But I'm not going to lie, NSH has been the best looking team so far in the post-season.

Crazy that the Wings and Penguins are already out, less so but SJS as well... If the Devils, Bruins and Canucks lose today/tomorrow we have a complete change of the guard. Makes me hopefully for some roster changes this summer, and standing changes for next year :)

You mean the hit where Neil doesn't leave his feet, doesn't raise an elbow, doesn't charge, and doesn't hit Boyle late, is that the hit? You and John Torts are the only ones who I have heard complaining about the hit. Hater's gonna hate, go Sens go.

Loving the SENS. They deserve to move on. What a well balanced team getting good tending. Players are stepping up big time. Hope the Bruins are finally realizing its the playoffs and get back to there game. Gotta give WAS credit, they are playing the system to a T and getting studly goaltending from Holtby.
