Notice that many of the GMs of teams not on that list have been replaced (multiple times in some cases) and not nearly as competitive.
Re: Biggest Trades in BBKL History
Note: The Heatley trade was WAY before the value of players had been determined, and he was still holding out and requested the trade.
Other than that, I'm more than happy with all my trades up there.

This is how that turned out:
To St. Louis: Tyler Seguin (will most likely suck)
To LA: Brayden Schenn + Dustin Jeffrey + Mikeal Boedker + Bill Arnold + Dylan McIlrath
*2011 WSH 1st rd pick was traded to MIN for 37th pick (Dylan McIlrath) in the BBKL 2010 entry draft.

Re: Biggest Trades in BBKL History
If the previous guy hadn't traded Ryan away for Wolski, I would've been sitting pretty with those two as my core. I wish I had Hank on my team but this deal actually was a very shrewd move involving two young studs. I know darn well I didn't get enough for Toews and I should've worked on clearing out salary to keep Toews in the mix to be my #1 center and it would've made more sense to look at moving Datsyuk before I moved Toews.SuperMario wroteCOLONTo Chicago: Henrik Zetterberg + Johan Franzen + Jakub Kindl + 2010 1st Rounder (DET)

I hate myself for doing this deal...I've been chasing my tail ever since looking for a #1 center and a #1 goalie. This was definitely at a time when making fast, impulsive moves were definitely the wrong way. If was as stingy about trading Datsyuk and I am about trading Jokinen now, I'd probably be better off. It's been a learning process along the way. My team isn't where I'd want it to be but I'm working on not making crucial mistakes to set me back further. To Detroit: Vincent Lecavalier + Mark Eaton + Jose Theodore + Marc Antoine Pouilot + 2011 1st Rounder (WSH) + 2010 3rd Rounder (NJD) + 2010 3rd Rounder (ATL)
