Not going to claim to love the det tandem as much as the LAK tandem - but after that I've worked through the remaining 28 teams and feel confident in my situation. No lidstrom is scary, but for 3.7M (total) I have a system that was in the top few of each category last season - good age and entering prime. Injuries the main threat to a good thing in goal, IMO.

My team has very minimal PIMs, and isnt as strong in Hits or Shtoi as many other 'powers'. Wingers on the large part are too young, but hopefully strength in numbers in the form of high talent/potential players means that some move into a higher impact role.

Pretty safe at C and a nice mix of proven talent and upcoming skill on the blue line. Obvious for many & probably true for each GM - but I'm happy with my team, a few little changes and I could be pumped !!!!

lol Nick I'm pretty sure you can easily get any tandem u want... just package any one of Sid/Stamks/Giroux + DET for that dream tandem ++.... no single hockey team has any reason to own all 3 (Sid/Stamks/Giroux) u just got lucky with Bergey

Just said that I'm confident in my tending... the 2nd tandem I'd pick looking around the league - no reason to pay anything to change that situation. Let alone a player that actually makes no sense to trade.

ps - COG in Kelowna is epic.
