Well if that is what you think, let's talk trade.
lets talk hombre.

Imo they are both new age powerfowards, who are both highly skilled and tenacious.
Coyle may not be as physical as Neal however.
I don't think Coyle is physical at all, but he is a much better two way forward, and one of the best face-off men in the Q.

After more thought on Coyle, Blake Wheeler seems a better comparison.
But I would love to hear who you would compare him too.

See I see Billy Guerin as a more physical mean player than James Neal.
Both characteristics we both agree Charlie Coyle is not.

I agree, but he is a perfect comparable otherwise, IMO. Wheeler isn't bad, I just don't think Coyle possesses the sheer size, and puck protection ability of Wheeler.

from a point production standpoint yes. but a large part of Guerins game was his physciality, toughness and bang and crash style of play.
Coyle and Wheeler are most similar as they are speedy, large, skilled wingers, who both could use their size more effectively.

Carter = Brooks Laich - very similar IMO.

FWIW I agree that Coyle is Similar to Wheeler, but doesn't have the blow by speed, however he might be better on the boards already.

Next up:
Victor Rask

I can see the Brooks Laich comparison, although I personally see Ryan Malone.

Viktor Rask is tough but id say he likely compares well to Patrick Berglund.

Scott Glennie is easy, Jeff Carter. Now that is not to say that Glennie will score 40 goals, and become a perennial all star, but he is a great skater with size, two way play and a great wrist shot. Stylistically he is Carter to a T, who knows what the results bear in the future.

Next Prospect: Daniel Catenacci

Andrew Cogliano. Speed and hands but not the stuff to put it together.

Personally I think Rask is WAY meaner and impactful in his physical player then Berglund, and probably lacks the playmaking skills of Berglund (IMO a 60+pt player in an open style offence). Victor would probably do better in the style the blues play.

FWIW, I can't think of another NHL'er who is comparable to AA, he is so fucking skilled and naturally gifted, there aren't many players like him.

MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONI don't see it at all Shiv... Huberdeau is a pure playmaker, whereas Toews is more of a shoot first forward. Further consider that Huberdeau plays predominantly on the LW, and likes to cheat on the rush, whereas Toews is as responsible a center as there is in the NHL.
Man I see a future stud C in Hubedeau who is a natural leader. It's possible Huberdeau ends up closer to Zetterberg, playing LW a lot in his career and skill wise maybe that's a closer comparison. But when his Career is said and done, I think he'll be closer to Toews.

Also, while on the topic - that draft year was by far one of the best in recent memory. It also shows how bs the concept of calling a draft weak is. RNH, Huberdeau, Landeskog, Couturier, Larsson, Strome, Hamilton, Murphy, Schiefele.

? that was the best one in recent memory? Only Landeskog really smashed expectations... RNH and Couturier met there's and the others are still unknowns. Just seems like a weird statement given that 6 of the 9 you listed haven't made a difference yet.

What? Only RNH and Couturier met expectations? First of all Couturier well exceeded expectations. RNH was unreal, only the injury interfered with his season. Larsson was solid in NJD's finals run. Huberdeau is going to be a BIG impact player. That right there is the first tier of 5 awesome players. Then you have tier 2 with guys like Hamilton, Strome, Zibanejad, Murphy, Schiefele all soong to make the jump. Name a draft that has been so solid in the top 10 in recent years?
