i thought NHL non free agents had an automatic lockout out clause ending their contracts overseas

TSNBobMcKenzie: As of now, subject to usual "could change mind later" qualifiers, TIm Thomas is not interested in ending his self-imposed hockey exile.
TSNBobMcKenzie: Said to be content/happy living with his family in Colorado, Thomas not interested in fulfilling final contract yr with BOS/any other team.
Not a surprise, no room on the WIngs for him unfortunately. He's been a trooper through the years...I'm sure there are a few goalies around the league that won't be sad to see him go.
