He's listed in a trade, on a publicly listed spread sheet and on cbs. Agreed he should be listed on Berg's searchable roster, but the proper thing to do is send Berg a message that he is missing, rather than being a POS. Just MO, but when u claimed I went to his team page, and he's listed in a quick check.

Im unsure as to why i misplaced him in my searchable roster. Only explanation i have is that i copy/pasted scotts list into my own thread - With that said i should have carefully checked it over to make sure all the names were listed. In turn i copy/pasted my searchable roster to the subsmission thread, explaining why he wasnt on that list. Facepalm.

On the flip side, i have him recorded in my Spreadsheet and on CBS. In theory since he wasnt on my submission list, i guess i should cough the player up? Or am i getting some kind of lee-way here - explaining my situation as best as i can, its not like the guy is a nothing player. Former 1st round pick, kind of serious topic.

Once again, i have him listed on 2/3 sources and Arian could have seen that aswell. Personally i would have sent a PM first notifiying a player of this stature was missing from roster submission .. But not everyone is that way i suppose.

Yeah, that's why I stress to people to get their draft picks moved to their proper teams. I'm only doing what I'm doing to keep track of how everyone got their picks in case something happens to CBS and since we do the draft on the forum.

CBS should have all your players and all you have to do here is stay organized with posting your active roster and lineups and have a basic record of your transactions. It's redundant but we can't do everything we want on the CBS site. Their main function is to record the actual stats during the season. We do our roster management here for the most part.

Ok so everyone should get their player's back that were waived for them early in the year too because roster submission doesn't matter lol. I agree that it should be good enough that he has the player on his CBS page but if we're going to ignore roster submission mistake in this case then we should for everyone.

He completely dropped the ball in that case...didn't have him on his roster on here and on CBS. He could've still had him if he kept better track of all his assets. He drafted him and never traded him away. He lost rights to him strictly because of not keeping better tabs on his roster. Since I have the Oilers goalies, I was ready to pounce on that mistake during the waiver draft...Lee was clever enough to draft him during the entry draft instead.

Fairly similar thing recently with Bryan (CLB) and Mike Knuble. He would've had to clear waivers regardless because he didn't put him on his active roster the week after he signed his FA contract but also he didn't post weekly lineups to show if he might've actually just put him on his bench.

Everyone needs to be accountable for their assets regardless of what it may say on CBS. Plus, you can't exactly show scratches/minors/prospects on CBS as we have it set up. If we ever found a more customizable site that can keep track of everything we do, we wouldn't need to do everything we do here.
