TBL/PHI -> Lightning Strikes
Re: TBL/PHI -> Lightning Strikes
People sure like to bitch piss and moan about offering more in trades and never actually send me a reasonable offer. Happened with Kubina, happened with Couture. Pony up instead of complaining afterwards.

Re: TBL/PHI -> Lightning Strikes
After speaking with Shep, this deal is nixed, officially. I've chosen to go with his offer.
This was the catch that I spoke with Mike about, he said it was fine if both parties agreed. Nick agreed to the trade knowing it could be nixed.

Re: TBL/PHI -> Lightning Strikes
Ye saying I agreed is a stretch, I heard this was you plan and you wanted a 2011 1st, but its cool. I had a great weekend and would rather just let this role over. In the future never do this; confirmation is final.
Do I keep Perttu Lindgren or is he back with you?

Re: TBL/PHI -> Lightning Strikes
wtf is going on...
Re: TBL/PHI -> Lightning Strikes
Bullshit ... shouldn't have posted it then. At that point it is written in stone as far as I'm concerned ...

None of his were official until the 2 week freeze is over.
Re: TBL/PHI -> Lightning Strikes
this is complete bullshit to be honest...
the rule is in place to make sure new GMs familiarize themselves with their roster and get comfortable with the league; get a 'lay of the land' so to speak and it's being completely mis-used.
how is it that a rule designed to not allow new GMs to trade at all within the first 2 weeks is not only not preventing kez from making trades, but allowing him to take them back as he sees fit.
its like a string bet in poker.

Re: TBL/PHI -> Lightning Strikes
This will be the last one, no worries.
Re: TBL/PHI -> Lightning Strikes
posting a trade is final. dont do this again.
Re: TBL/PHI -> Lightning Strikes
I didn't post the fucking trade.bergey wroteCOLONposting a trade is final. dont do this again.
Where is the disconnect here? I told Nick that I wanted to speak with Shep atleast 5 times. He was pressuring me to accept this deal because Mike's Kane deal was hinging on ours. I told him again that I wanted to speak with Shep. Mike and Nick were fine with the idea that it may be cancelled.
Nick, you agreed that it may be cancelled.
Re: TBL/PHI -> Lightning Strikes
Deals with new GM's entering the league that are on a two week probation are not to be posted until the two week mark has passed. You may use the media account and state a rumour but we have this rule in place for a reason. It protects new GM's and it protects the league. A few things went wrong here. I can understand Lee wanting to get down to business but any deals that are finalized need to be kept between the parties involved until the probation period is up. This didnt happen. Nick and whoever else that spoke with him, should have informed the new guy that deals dont happen and should not be posted until the time period is up. And Lee, you may have had an agreement in place with Nick but to everyone else in the league that sees this, once you post a trade it is confirmed on BBKL and is written in stone. Since there is so many variables going on here some leniency can be had but people in BBKL know these rules and now Lee knows you dont post shit unless you want it to be a done deal. Don't be letting new GMS post trades people until the time-line is up. It is there for a reason. Go ahead and make deals in the background but understand that it will be a gentleman's agreement until posted on BBKL and after the 2 week mark.
Re: TBL/PHI -> Lightning Strikes
Easy on the new guy here, by all the retarded bickering it looks like this won't happen again, no need to have a fuckin nip kinip boys and girls

Nope, Kane deal not connected.Kezia wroteCOLON I didn't post the fucking trade.

Sorry, like I said in the other topic. I didn't know at the time that it was your deal that was pending, just that a deal was pending.Starpainter wroteCOLON

Easy on the new guy now, Its balls for Nick I agree, but both of them seem to be okay with it now.mr. bruin wroteCOLONDeals with new GM's entering the league that are on a two week probation are not to be posted until the two week mark has passed. Also I don't blame him in this situation we've lifted this rule for so many other new GMs we should make sure we never ever lift it again. Its a hard and fast rule - no exceptions.
Re: TBL/PHI -> Lightning Strikes
Un-fucking-believable.
