I wish i could have done more but i'm tapped. Still competitive with what i got but at the peak. I will be happy to win one or two rounds in playoffs. My fans will at least get some entertainment. I wish we could have some sort of way of validating making the playoffs and winning a round just for fun. At present it is win it all or you might as well be last.

On a Bruins note, getting Samuelsson back is like adding a newly acquired player along with Weaver. The chance that Dekeyser signs and instantly gets significant playing time is exciting.

No trading for anybody until our playoffs are completed.

Says the guy who consistently makes it 2-3 rounds in - ask the non playoff teams and first round exits if being out of the playoffs is the same as being in. I missed one year, and it sucked. Won't happen again.

You know what i mean. Almost like a v-cash total by team. Would that not be a great first success by a team who has never made the playoffs to do it one year? Franchises get monetary returns for playoff games and rounds won. Of course the ultimate goal is to win the cup, but one more home game is piles of money. Since we are so detailed with every other aspect, why not assign a set amount of money to each franchise, then reward fake franchise money with bonuses for making playoffs, winning rounds, and the cup. It is just a side idea and for fun and would be a great side aspect to bbkl. It would be another way to measure success over the long term. I just think it would be interesting and fun. No extra work, just something else to talk about. Could carry our running totals right in our usernames.

I guess it's not too early to start preparing for the draft ... will need something to do with no BBKL and the Sharks stinking it up

A) you're complaining about your team stinking to a group of Leaf fans... although also hidden in here are a fair # of Canuck fans who can still remember their years of shame... Sharks are due.

----Now,
Some BBKL stuff could begin, helping organize topics for admin's & CC regarding unrwitten rules, hard to find answers, idea to move forward and changes worth talking about.

Of course there are a lot of areas to cover for your own team:
Draft prep, Team introspective analysis, Watch some teams you don't normally watch in order to get an idea for some players (beyond the #), check out other BBKL teams and what their numbers look like, Lots of organizing can be done.
