Not sure who you are saying that is a good trade for - but I wish Jagr was playing Having Sidney Crosby out makes this hard to even watch, he's kinda a big deal. Missing TJ sucked as well, Gardiner is benched because he's been a healthy scratch for leafs + only 2 GP. Those are 3 rather high value pieces just sitting idle.

Yea, I was lucky that Iginla deal went down last week when I missed a few games. Would have hurt extra hard this week. Fortunately i think the only rostered players i have that may be moved is Robidas.

Lee, want to implement my Franchise earning system for BBKL? How do we get access to our history and standings from years past? I want to attach a franchise dollar value to each team. This of course starts from day one of BBKL.

Just a random number but say every franchise starts with 50,000,000

Win your regular season division get 1,000,000
Win your conference get 2,000,000
Win the presidents get 5,000,000
Make the playoffs one year you get 1,000,000
Win a round get 5,000,000
win a conference in playoffs get 7,000,000
win a bbkl championship get 20,000,000

just a fun idea i would like to do in the off season but since you are so bored maybe you would have some input? I think its a great idea and could be a way to give value to franchises. A measuring stick per say....

The reward system would be great if we could actually have auctions for players (FAAB). Fake money is even more fake when you can't even use it. If you have this reward system, you should be able to parlay it into something.

I'm in other leagues where you have free agent auctions and you use real money to spend on free agents in an auction format. You earn money during the season for making the playoffs and having success in the postseason and you also receive rewards for your players earning rewards. Every year, teams each get a flat amount to add to their previous budget and obviously those who win (or don't spend all their money) can be more aggressive in free agency.

Another wild idea would be to have AHL stats count towards your minor league roster and you can compete for minor league rewards as well. I know you can't do all the categories we have on CBS but you can't use whatever is posted on AHL.com.
