damn Backes... the Jackets held their own in St.Louis but he came up with that goal out of nowhere.

Meanwhile Miller and the Sabres are having the best week of the season. Not sure if i should hope for Miller to start again tomorrow vs the Devils or not...

so we're tied at 7 entering the weekend.. i think i'd need to overturn goals to win; need to survive tonight first as i'll have 4 less players and back with the gp advantage tomorrow.

Really sucks that Nyquist hit the post with that wrister that would have also been a game winner.

Should be a tense couple of days, probably down to the wire Steve!

argh, i can see a Miller shutout coming up and screwing everything... if that doesn't happen, it will probably come down to Blocked Shots lol, which are almost tied.

Fucking MIller and lousy Devils.. if Sullivan can't score on that chance i wonder when they ever will

so, since 30 seconds after that post Sullivan redeemed himself scoring on the PP, it came down to BS indeed and the fact Nikitin missed his last game made it less close.. a 6 BS margin that secured the upset.

Before the matchup i thought my team underachieved so far and i had a chance, but i didn't think i would win while losing all the G stats (to Buffalo..), missing Zett and with Malkin putting almost nothing on the scoreboard (1A and 4SOG for the week)!

Steve, sorry to end your season in the 1st round as a result of my collapse in the last 2 weeks of the RS, that's really an unfortunate finish for your team... but hey, you ousted me last season in the 1st round after all, you had to pay sooner or later! :)

Looking forward to future years' matchups!

looks like the rest didn't do them any good, as i lost all G stats.

P.S. Lou certainly didn't need any rest on the other hand.

David buddy, I am shocked you never made a move to shore up a goaltender. Your team was STACKED. Who owns Schneider? Did you not want to or did you think he would get traded? Thats a tough way to go down.

my team looks stacked on paper but I doubted my chances.. didn't want to get schneider maybe just coz im a luongo lover.. col had a very good week in scoring and goaltending.. it would not make a difference had luongo played honestly.. hopefully luo gets traded in off-season
