Don't want RoR with that contract. IIRC, and I might be mistaken, qualifying offers are based on the preceding year's salary and not cap hit? This might be wrong, but if it isn't that means you get one year of RoR at 5 cap/6.5 $$$ and then a QO of 6.5mil if you want to retain him. Yikes. If I'm wrong than the QO is still 5mil, which isn't what I want to be paying a guy like him yet anyway.
