In the same sense, what Steve and I think is irrelevant - the Devils HOF GM clearly is a big believe in Zajac - and he's without a doubt their current #1.

ya, people in NJ are still very high on Zajac...my personal opinion doesn't matter much in the hockey world.


Zajac reminds me of Stajan, whereas Henrique reminds me of a guy who doesn't mind doing what it takes to finish a player, set up a scoring chance, or pot a goal....seems to have the next step of hockey IQ.

If the devil's are playing hardball negotiations with Henrique this could get interesting. He's beast, better than Zajac IMO.

Devils brought Lokti in slowly, look at his first few games vs. the last few weeks of the season, started with no ice time then worked his way in, he earned his time. Problem with him is he's not too strong on the dot. I don't see a huge problem with reading fan's opinions on the team that they watch night in night out, many of them have claimed Lokti was the 2nd best Devil's player last year, and myself not being able to watch every Devil's game feel like they may have a better sample size to discuss him with. I don't think you'd dispute Leafs fans such as those on HF or BBKL are likely a better authority on their players than I am?

Also to claim Henrique is better than Zajac is to forget that Zajac has been one of the Devils best players for years (obviously behind Kovy), he was coming off missing a complete year basically and then the lockout as well, he hadn't played a lot of hockey in almost two full years so he will look rusty. Henrique is a good player for sure, but I think he lacks some of the skill Zajac has, just my opinion vs. yours though.

Probably the hardest spots to fill is the centre position... how the fuck do you choose four out of Crosby/Stamkos/Getzlaf/Bergeron/Staal/Staal/Richards/Thornton/Tavares/Couture/Toews/Carter?? Jesus
