Henrik Lundqvist & who cares... however I would bring Viktor Fasth because he's familiar with the big ice.

Nice forwards, lots of full-ice players:

Eriksson - Backstrom - Zetty
Sedin - Sedin - Steen
Landeskog - Berglund - Franzen
Hagelin - Johansson - Kruger
Extra: Hornqvist for PP

Unreal d-core here:

Kronwall - OEL
Edler - Karlsson
Ericsson - Hedman
Brodin

Size, speed, and super skilled. Love it.

IMO this is the team to beat.

We couldn't just have a general Olympic invite thread?

i figured team Canada talk would over-ride the others... weighing in on the big competitors is fun as well.

I'd swap Ericsson with Hjalmarsson and put Brodin into the top 6, other than I like it, I also wouldn't discount the possibility of Filip Forsberg making a case for himself, though the odds are certainly against him.

we are agreeing on a lot during these selection threads. I said that aloud when I read this thread.

I don't like the lines stated above, IE Steen playing with the Sedins vs their usual line mate in Franzen, but I agree with all the selections up front for sure.
