I could see him worth 4M this season. I hate how players get term and coin for what they should be vs what they currently are but I think kadri is currently worth 4M. He was on pace for 75 points last year, it is hard to argue that he wouldn't be worth 4M next year. in fact if he repeats last year, it is hard to argue he isn't worth more. If I were him my goal would be like 4M for two years. Clearly the leafs wont give him the term he wants, take the bridge and rape them next time around when they have to give you 6+ with term.Big Fun wroteCOLONI'D HAVE to agreebills09 wroteCOLONI would be pleased if we signed Kadri to a similar contract to Henrique

Nick wroteCOLONI actually typed out a post similar to what Shook said. Kadri was worth more than $4M last year, and will likely be again this year.
Currently contracts are given out based on what you did over your last contract, not for what you are going to do.
Kadri's best years could easily be his next 5. However he'll get hyis best pay days after that.
RoR's bridge was 5M, Subban's was 2.85M, instead of going with either of those style short-term options, I'd want term on this deal. Put off the pay-day just a little, but don't have him wanting to rengotiate or anything crazy. 4M x 6 years would be epic, IMO.
Feaster is who i was talking about, he fucked up bad. It's a good thing the Avs matched or the fat man would be even more fuckedNick wroteCOLONCOL's GM isn't feaster, last I checked ? ahhahaha

is there anything in the new CBA that suggests the cap goes up next year?Shoalzie wroteCOLONBig Fun wroteCOLONand with the cap dropping the march of 3rd and 4th liners overseas begins.
You wonder if we see less of this next year if the cap goes back up to where it was before...and will we see some of these guys come back next year. Part of why I'm not in a hurry to get rid of the Euro defectees because some of them might not be there permanently. Free agency next summer should be very interesting depending on how much more teams will have to spend...and there's still several teams that can use their compliance buyouts.
that would be excellent!Bruyns wroteCOLONIt's back to being based off of league revenues and expectations are it could go as high as 70Mish
