so i almost died about 10 minutes ago.

getting back from work late (bout 1 am) and i have to park a couple blocks from my house cause there's no parking around my apartment.

so i get out of my car and immediately hear a dog barking...like a super angry bark. i look around and notice this fucking dog full on charging at me down the road. i was coaching tonight so i had my stick/skates/small bag in the back seat (thank god). so i open my back seat door and grab my stick and prepare for battle.

dog sees me with my weapon and slows slightly but is still coming the fuck at me. i get a better look at him - about a 60 lbs pit... as he gets close to me he lunges and i dodge it then star pummeling it as hard as fuckin can with my twig. i beat the fuck out of this thing. got him once good across the head and a few times over the back.

eventually he turns around and gets into position as if he's going to pounce - so i start swinging again for the face and he stands up and bolts (with a strong limp).

heart still pounding. had to get this written down, sorry bbkl.

It had to be a scary situation. I think he did the right thing. I am sure the adrenaline was flowing. Whoever the owner is should truly be the recipient of the stick swings. I am also curious as to why you didnt get back in your car...lol Ah well, fucker wont mess around anymore. I had a similar experience when a doberman that was like 4.5 feet tall started chasing me when I was going for a jog one night. I didn't assault it though haha. I just kept running till I got to an intersection and it didn't cross.
