ADMIN/CC PLEASE LOOK - WEEK 1 SCREW-UP
ADMIN/CC PLEASE LOOK - WEEK 1 SCREW-UP
Look at the following roster submission here for week 1 by me: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... nfYI#gid=7
Also, look at my transactions log: http://bbkl.ca/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=10016
Now, look at my post today innocently requesting for Garbutt to be moved back to wing because CBS mysteriously switched his position back to C: http://bbkl.ca/viewtopic.php?p=150398#p150398
Now, look at this CBS live scoring for week 1: http://bbkl.hockey.cbssports.com/scoring/completed/1
Garbutt has been missing ever since start of season - which means CBS moved his position back a long time ago JUST before start of week 1. I would never have left am empty roster spot out on CBS before commencing season. What the fuck has happened here?
Garbutt put up 15 PIM in week 1 which would've resulted in a win for my team (without Garbutt it was 30-25 for shep)
I just came back from a trip all week too so I never was able to confirm and check for this missing player during week 1. Now I see it.
What are we going to do about this?

Re: ADMIN/CC PLEASE LOOK - WEEK 1 SCREW-UP
If you don't set your CBS line up, you're SOL I believe.
Happened to me last year in the playoffs. I made my roster moves but forgot to change CBS and it cost me my season.

Re: ADMIN/CC PLEASE LOOK - WEEK 1 SCREW-UP
My suspicion is that I did NOT fail to set my lineup, but the fact that Garbutt's automatic positional change has set him back into the reserve list from the active. This has happened before when positions kept reversing and this is what I believe has happened just before roster lock last week.Blues GM wroteCOLONIf you don't set your CBS line up, you're SOL I believe.

Re: ADMIN/CC PLEASE LOOK - WEEK 1 SCREW-UP
yea i dont think that happens man. perhaps you forgot to hit save changes or something.
Re: ADMIN/CC PLEASE LOOK - WEEK 1 SCREW-UP
considering your lineup had room for both W or C, that doesn't make any sense.gooker wroteCOLONMy suspicion is that I did NOT fail to set my lineup, but the fact that Garbutt's automatic positional change has set him back into the reserve list from the active.Blues GM wroteCOLONIf you don't set your CBS line up, you're SOL I believe.

The CC/Admin have discussed and although the positional change may have added confusion - it did not play a role in having him inactive, as it is your responsibility to set your CBS roster, and we have a precedent for NOT changing it post-hoc.
You are correct that Garbutt is a BBKL Winger, however that wouldn't have impacted your ability to make him active.
CBS did not change him from active to inactive.
Although you did inform us that you were taking a trip, at no point was it asked of anyone to confirm or set your CBS lineup. We're confident that had you asked, someone would have volunteered to see it done.
We acknowledge the difficulties of the new CBS system, however a few minutes spent playing with different approaches should yield some comfort as to when your roster is 'set'. We encourage all GMs to set their roster first in Google Doc's (as it computes everything for you) and then to mirror it into CBS - once both are complete a GM can safely shutdown knowing their team is in good shape - within cap regulations, have the right people active, the correct bodies on the bench, and no waivers required unexpectedly.
