Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Shiv is right, Horton made a conscious effort to leave the Bruins, he doesn't deserve a leg injury. Seguin on the other had had no say in the matter, and as far as I am concerned, can break his leg for all I care.SuperMario wroteCOLON+1 why is it okay for Horton to break his leg lol?gooker wroteCOLONLOL WOAH LOL CLIFF WHATS WITH THE HATE ON HORTON LMFAO RELAX BRO

Really?? I thought 6-8 weeks normally to heal a broken bone. I broke my arm completely in 2 in grade 10, in a cast for 8 weeksgooker wroteCOLONIts the big one. Stamkos is now projected to miss the rest of season most likely. Would be a miracle to be back for playoffs (if tbl makes it) but with physio time required + practice time i doubt it
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Lol, thats a dumb comment. If you are a fan of hockey, which i know you are, you will never wish long term injury to any player with the exception of the Avery, Cooke, Kaleta types. Chara is an amazing hockey player, leader on and off the ice as well as amazing with charitable work. He is one the the best overall trained athletes in the world, not just hockey. Wishing a long term injury on a player with the sole reason that he wears the sweater of a rival team is stupid. I mean i hate certain players but besides someone like Cooke(old Cooke) I would never wish injury on anyone.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONIf hoping and praying for a long-term injury to Chara makes me a Habs fan, I guess I'm a Habs fan...CAM wroteCOLONI thought you were a Leafs fan, not a Hab fan?

lol...I hate the Leafs and actually feel bad for a franchise that is like the little brother tugging on your pant leg but i would never wish injury and long term at that, to one of there players. If they are going to win, I hope they do it on the merit of having the better team not by taking advantage of a team who has multiple players out due to injury.

Age is a key component heredave1959 wroteCOLONReally?? I thought 6-8 weeks normally to heal a broken bone. An adolescent/teenager's bone growth and regeneration rate is incomparable to that of a full grown adult. Typically depending on the severity of the break (as always), kids anywhere from the age of 4-18 can recover and get back to 90% of their daily routine in within 6-8 weeks as you've indicated, and may even get back to playing competitive sports in his/her respective playing level within 3 months. Keep in mind, we are also talking about a professional athlete who is expected to make a full recovery + play professional hockey at his maxmium capacity with the amount of exertion and force required on his recovered leg like he has before the injury occurred. The recovery process itself isn't even the important part. That can be taken care of now better than ever before with application of top of the line medical advancements and treatment options available out there. The gruesome part of this is the amount of dedication and luck involved in effective physiotherapy and post-recovery processes such as complications from rods/screw removal possibly causing infection etc all leading up to near 100% recovery and being able to play in the competitive NHL environment again. With all this said, I wouldnt be surprised to see Stamkos gone for the entire year. My opinion is that at best scenario, he will make the return to the NHL LATE April or the playoffs. I doubt TBL will risk doing any of that though.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
The only way I would want a Bruin on my team is if they forced their way out like Kessel. If it was a trade, I'd still hate them, my hate for that team and their players runs that deeply.dave1959 wroteCOLONThere are lots of players i can't stand....and I would take them on my team in a heartbeat.

I like this side of you Paul. thumbs up, good post.
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
So, the Leafs trade a pick and acquire Milan Lucic or Bergeron or any of them and no matter what you hate them? haha, there is no logic to that thinking. I consider you to be a smart human. I think you must be trolling.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONThe only way I would want a Bruin on my team is if they forced their way out like Kessel.
