yea, im not a huge rap fan but every once in awhile a hip hop album comes out that just feels more like art than anything else. felt that way about good kid maad city and after one listen im feeling the same way about this.

"bad guy" for example sounds very basic/amateurish at first, until i read that he's rapping as stan's little brother coming back to try and kill eminem, and he's purposefully punctuating the rhyming words as an amateur rapper would. the callback to "stan" is amazing. very very few rappers do this shit. kendrick did this taking on different persona thing alot in maad city too. also, the final 2 minutes are just awesome.
