No CBS does not keep track of everything beside draft picks and placeholders. Even what it does keep track of has been very unreliable.
CBS does not calculate cap correctly, nor does it have any concern for waivers or other BBKL roster requirements.
However that isn't the discussion here. The admin and CC don't need to be keeping track of other GMs teams for them, and they've been required to all too often.
The admins did extensive work so that GMs don't have to trouble themselves with understanding or reading how our cap works, instead the simple process of keeping an up-to-date spreadsheet, that is auto-programmed to do everything for you, is all that is asked.
it may seem like there are several here that cannot be bothered, but Peter I assure you they are actually doing it. Kareem does, Anton would never let anyone know it (it's cool to not care), but he does 85% of what's being asked and we're all hoping he'll step up and post in the thread.
TBH it sucks that posts like this are needed, and in 8 different spots so that more bitching later on can be avoided.
Re: Google Doc Updates Required.
i haven't touched my spreadsheet in probably 2 months. i do use it to track my picks because they're not on CBS but i find the rest incredibly tedious...mostly putting in birthdays and GPs.

Re: Google Doc Updates Required.
Since I make like 1000000000 trades a week, I've found a pretty fast way to do it:
1. Open your google doc
2. Open the google doc of the person you made the trade with from the list of BBKL team spreadsheets (https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... aring#list)
3. Copy/paste the player in
Takes me less than 30 seconds

Re: Google Doc Updates Required.
or your bench, LTIR and IR?
couple of guys on your team who require waivers in the minors, cannot see any reference to them being on the bench..aside from Schultz and even that is iffy.

I do the same, except before hand I test fit cap hits and flexibility scenarios in a 'test stuff' tab.SuperMario wroteCOLONSince I make like 1000000000 trades a week, I've found a pretty fast way to do it:

aside from transaction thread, guys use bench, reserves and minors interchangeably
Would need to go to your team spreadsheet which you cannot be bothered to link to in order to see that you've placed him on your bench - except the doc is no where near up to date, un-owned players and such...
Re: Google Doc Updates Required.
Nice example of when you did post in transaction thread w/google doc! look at that

I test stuff on my desktop spreadsheet because it's easier than the Google doc for me personally.Nick wroteCOLONI do the same, except before hand I test fit cap hits and flexibility scenarios in a 'test stuff' tab.SuperMario wroteCOLONSince I make like 1000000000 trades a week, I've found a pretty fast way to do it:
