GM Game: Who Would You Like To Thank?

Post by The BBKL Insider »

As the title suggest, list the GM who'd you like to thank for a deal that worked out for your team.

It doesn't have to be a pure win, or a "rape deal", just a player who's developed nicely. I know we've all made good/bad deals, so list the deal that stands out most in your mind.

For me i'd like to thank Anton, for trading me Chris Kreider for Olli Maata

A sour one that sticks out to me is:

To Kareem: Brandon Saad

To Me: Kyle Clifford + David Broll

I would like to thank Nick for trading Stamkos for Yakupov + Weber so that I never have to face Crosby + Stamkos in the same week again.

Giving thanks to others also works in this thread. It's great timing as well - being Thanksgiving in the US and all

Thank you Shiv for Thornton. You made a homer happy.

I think it was Cammy + Wideman, or something like that ...

Ovie would like to thank GM David Lee for trading for him from the stupid habs GM chuck who give him shitty ice time and demotivated his play and instructed him to float around during the games. However, under GM David Lee's good hands, Ovie strive and developed back into the MVP and Rocket trophy winner and on pace for the same this year.

Hehe, you're welcome. When I got Thornton, I knew I'd move him to you only haha. I've tried to get him back a couple of times but can respect having one of your team's all time favourites. Heck, I'd never move Sundin/Mogilny

I'd like to thank BBKL's biggest slow horse Steve for trading me Cory Schneider + 5th for Andrei Loktionov back in the day. I later flipped Schneider for Jumbo straight up.
