Who's watching the pre-tourney game against Finland right now?

Canada up 3-2 thru 2 periods. Goals from Horvat, Dumba, and Ekblad.

McDavid is the real deal..he's the best player on the ice right now. And the McDavid-Horvat-Reinhart line has also been Canada's best line. Drouin and Lazar are healthy scratches as they are locks on the 1st line. Reinhart is also a healthy scratch on D.

From what I gather, here are the projected lines:

Drouin - Petan - Lazar
Mcdavid - Horvat - Reinhart
Leier - Laughton - Hudon/Mantha
Rychel - Gauthier - Anderson (shut down energy line)

Looks like 2 of Mantha, Shinkaruk, and Girard will be cut. Tough for Shinkaruk as he's probably one of the most skilled forwards on the team but has been playing hurt all year.

On D, it looks like this:

Bigras - Dumba
Pouliot - Ekblad
Morrisey - Pelech
Severson

The top 4 along with Griffin Reinhart look to be locks. Morrisey, Pelech, and Severson will battle for the last 2 D spots.

the youngsters and horvat line is on another level. Really impressed with Ekblad also, very intelligent hockey player.
Thought TT looked good for the Finns as he should, but had a rough 1st period.
Going to be a really fun Canada team to watch this year when Drouin and Lazar are also on the ice.
Top 6 is definitely shaping up quick, and thinking Mantha will crack the roster and play steady on the powerplay.
Laughton makes a great penalty killer.

Yep, looks like Mantha will make the team as the 13th forward who gets lots of PP time and provide the offensive spark.

No Kidding and that's Holik at the high end. Realistically I see his upside as somewhere between Brian Boyle (without the toughness) and Bobby Holik. Both great lands at 20+ in the draft.
