Marcus Foligno joins a host of teammates scratched due to illness Monday, leaving the Sabres badly shorthanded.-2 at puck drop… so lameErik Gudbranson underwent orbital surgery Monday and is out indefinitely, the Sun Sentinel reports. He apparently suffered the injury Friday against the Jets, and it's unknown when he'll make his return to the ice.

Ville Leino came down with an illness Monday and missed the team's morning skate. Leino joins Marcus Foligno, Alexander Sulzer, Linus Omark and Cody Hodgson as Buffalo's in actives.

CAM -> your 18 points is straight up stupid,that one line giving you 9! + iggy with 2 and a nice sv%/gaa/win by Rask… that one game probably won you the weak in a big way.
Per TOI Yak is amazing, wish he'd get more solid minutes: N. Yakupov : 1g,1a, 2pts, +1, 1sog (weak), 12Pims, 2 hits all in just 9 shifts for 6:29 toi. For a guy that tied for the league in rookie scoring, led his team in goals, he sure doesn't get much credit. I get that dallas is trying to get him to play the game the right way… but at some point shouldn't he let him play?

You've got a solid lineup, Paul...I expect you to win this one.
I didn't go with my best possible lineup...sat Glendening and Murray. I chose to optimize for GP with every guy in the lineup having 3 scheduled games each. Liked seeing Bryz having a good outing after a bad week.
