Re: Provincial Olympic Teams - Who would medal?
If you took the States in their own tourney, I'd say Minnesota probably wins gold...superior talent at forward and defense but their goalie would be Alex Stalock. They'd have a solid 6 defensemen, their centers would be Backes-Stepan-Matt Cullen-Bjugstad. Parise, Okposo and Wheeler as their notable wingers. I probably say Michigan loses the gold medal game to Minnesota although Miller could steal that game and they'd be a pretty tough team to play against with a lead. New York is sneaky talented...could beat out Michigan with their front line talent and they've got Howard in net.
Massachusetts, like Michigan isn't as good as it was during the 90s with the old guard of American stars...Schneider is in net for them. Seems like the best talent is in Minnesota and New York. It'll be a few years before we see enough talent from the other parts of the country to compete.

Re: Provincial Olympic Teams - Who would medal?
Ontario is just a lot deeper than any other province... BC super legit, and Quebec has some nice forwards, but would get run out of the building.
Re: Provincial Olympic Teams - Who would medal?
Ontario should be a lot deeper, a minimum of three times the population of every province but Quebec lol.Nick wroteCOLONOntario is just a lot deeper than any other province... BC super legit, and Quebec has some nice forwards, but would get run out of the building.
Sask actually dress a pretty respectable roster considering their province has just over 1M in residents haha. Not bad for them at all.
