NYI destroys this
Re: NYI/Philadelphia- Yip on the move!
Tony for the win!
Yip is no where near what you were telling me he was Lee, but he's worth notably more then Omark... Mitchell & Winnik are 3rd/4th liners... but not distant prospect bad..LOL

Re: NYI/Philadelphia- Yip on the move!
Potulny had 32 points last year and isn't buried in Colorado.
Craig Cunningham was the 3rd highest scoring forward in the playoffs, and 6th during the regular season in the WHL.
Omark is a dynamic forward prospect who is boom or bust, but had 36 points in 56 games (20 goals) in the KHL this year, and he came over to the NHL this off season.
Corey Cowick is 6'2, 200 LBS and almost a PPG player the last 2 years in the OHL.
Yip is a 3rd liner
Torrey Mitchell and Daniel Winnik are 4th liners. Maybe Winnik is a 3rd
Liam Reddox is AHL fodder
All this and no mention of how incredibly weak I was, prospect wise, on the left side.

He can now count how many games his team will have played on his fingers
Re: NYI/Philadelphia- Yip on the move!
You do realize that even by trading 3 NHL forwards in this deal and getting one back, I still have no less than 4 extra's not even in my lineup (including pressbox), correct?
Re: NYI/Philadelphia- Yip on the move!
Who are the 3 you traded?
Huh?
Huh?

Re: NYI/Philadelphia- Yip on the move!
I dunno.. everyone seems to be running on the assumption that I have no idea what I'm doing. Look at the team I started with and what I have now.. Everyone was saying that I won't meet the GP, and yet I have almost 2 full lines of NHLers playing in the minors. Now everyone has moved onto goalies, and that will be resolved in the next couple of days. What's next?
Re: NYI/Philadelphia- Yip on the move!
Dude, do you really care what people think? Fuck, I could care less what any of these guys think man lol.. I was told I was doing it wrong last year more than once.. did it stop me? No.. did it pay off?Kezia wroteCOLONI dunno.. everyone seems to be running on the assumption that I have no idea what I'm doing. Look at the team I started with and what I have now.. Lee, do your thing and who gives a shit what people think lol.. remember, some of these guys get scared to make a trade.. it's quite funny!!
Re: NYI/Philadelphia- Yip on the move!
I find the title funny "Yip on the move" usually that is reserved for great players such as "malkin to pittsburg"
stay tuned for this massive trade "Cody Mcleod to...."

Awfull deal bro. Just awfull, Flyers GM have made is team way way way worst. I dislike this move, why buddy?
At least Yip had the chance to be a 2nd line man and at worst 3rd line. Omark won't play more then 20 games this year but maybe he'll do great for 2011-2012 season. but still just awfull deal. Even if Flyers is dead last, he won't even be able to pick 1st since he won't have enough games played. Ny Islander killed this deal. Bravo Ny. Islander for the rape.
By the way Thx for the sig....

You're right, Frank. I should have taken Matt Ellis and the 4th that you offered me.
Re: NYI/Philadelphia- Yip on the move!
I feel your pain there lee, its been said but so far this year he is the run away winner for the leave me the fuck alone award.Kezia wroteCOLONYou're right, Frank. I should have taken Matt Ellis and the 4th that you offered me.
Frank what you fail to see is that yip is not a 2nd liner by any means. His spot was aquired due to injuries of the two people ahead of him, he didnt start the season last year with them and will be behind Stewart/Mueller/Jones for that RW spot. I agree that NYI won this trade but its not because of yip imo its the others. I dont think anyone here watched as much of the Avs last year as me simply because I wanted to know more about the players I had, so to say at worst 3rd liner to start next season well imo its at best.
Re: NYI/Philadelphia- Yip on the move!
Prospects for 3rd liners ... hardly rape fellas
Re: NYI/Philadelphia- Yip on the move!
you win because both of your teams are in the rebuilding stages, you add rosters he loses. For a guy who has a lot of depth this trade is still a loss but understandable. Thats why I think you winNighthock wroteCOLONProspects for 3rd liners ... hardly rape fellas

LOL at Kezia...Yip is a 3rd liner? This after weeks of telling me that he is as good as Tyler Bozak.
