I like Casey Cizikas, and his BBKL # are very solid & reliable. Cheap waiver exempt grinder C.

but... IRL he's a 4th line C who get's good minutes when the coach is sending a message to JT/Nielsen/etc to pick up their effort.


I do think Cliffy won, but - I don't think it's a problem trade by any measure.

Pomms is probably the best player in this trade, and if he were PKing (like every year prior to this year) he'd be the most value-able BBKLer.

i love how i get blamed for Pauls trades,,,this trade was done between Cliff and Paul, i offered MP85 for Cizikas yesterday, it got worked into the 3 way between Paul and Cliff.

I don't see how paul got raped. He got the two best players in the deal and a 1st rounder. He has cap, so why wouldn't he do this?

Only reason Steve makes this trade is because Bolland will be back next week and he'd have to ship out a C regardless. I think Perreault is far better than Cizikas and wouldn't have been done had Steve not needed to.

Rather like this for Paul the rest do just ok imo.

It's certainly a benefit but not as huge as you think. My path would still be something like MTL-WSH-TOR vs yours which would be something like BOS-TOR-PIT. You just tied Thom. And MTL vs BOS is pretty damn close. And heck, your path could even be BOS-TOR-WSH/MTL.

The "benefit" isn't as real as you think. So stop making excuses already.
