I agree with this on paper. But I don't think it's that unlikely that Russia or US or Sweden beat us in the Semis. Also have to account for the emotional boost the Russians will have on home ice. It's not going to be easy IMO.

Small tourney's like the olympics are way too unpredictable and sporadic for all bets to be on Canada.
I picked Russia just for the hell of it, Canada obviously has the best odds though.

Looking forward to some good matchups, like you said it's not going to be easy.

The issue we're going to have IMO is that a team like the US has wingers better suited for the big ice. I can totally see a guy like Kessel or Ovechkin just running train in this tournament with the extra space. On the flip side, it gives guys like Crosby more room to operate. But I also think it makes it harder for a guy like Perry to be as effective as he is in the NHL.
