Fucking idiots have changed the lines again. Kunitz - Crosby - MSL. See ya later Duchene. We didn't need your insane speed and confidence. How in sweet fuck can you change the lines this much in such a small tourny? I mean set the lines and tell them to work it the fuck out. Chemistry comes eventually. frustrating.

+1. Babcock is trying to coach till he finds a line. Not the way to do it at all...

If Duchene is sitting, that's a joke. They are trying too hard to make things work for Crosby. You have 3 other lines that have/had played fine. Fuck sake.

Put him with 2 players, let them develop chemistry over a game or two, not a shift or two.

We baby Crosby way too much. I'd be fine with giving him Line 2/3 minutes if his line can't get it going while still having him on PP1. We keep ruining our other lines

Perhaps its the fact that they only have so many games for them to find "chemistry" and limited time to create the perfect line... Dupuis/kunitz line. Marek put it out there that in his theory, crosby is so elite that players just arent getting used to the type of passes he makes put on the fly, particularly the kinds where he reads the wingers positioning to make a zipline backhand pass across the ice surface. World class playmakers have that type of tendency where they feel their linemates next step to make that sweet pass that looks ever so smooth and easy, and while it is hard to believe none of the wingers have the skills to read HIS passes but also can see why because of the extra 3000 sq ft of ice space. Small time theory but i can see within a small reasonable window of cases why babs keeps shuffling his wingers.

I know why they are doing it, but it's stupid and messing up the other 3 lines because they throw out so many combo's with Crosby.

Babs isn't moving Benn off of Crosby's wing because he didn't work, he's moving him because Jamie is needed on the Getzlaf line... Where as Crosby's line will still be good (useable) without Jamie. 22-87-37 was dominant (without a goal, but doesn't change their play) last game, but patty, getz and Perry went MIA.

Our problem is that MSL & Kunitz ( to my eye Marleau as well) aren't fitting well anywhere... whichever center gets one of them 'wastes' a line. Duchene didn't get a fair shake if that was his one game.

Time to stop using the 13th forward all game, just have him as a spare at the end of the bench, same use as the 7th dman.

Duchene should not be scratched. He's the fastest player on the team, has a great shot, and looked fine out there. Kunitz has looked poor every game and does not deserve to stay in there.

I also don't understand why we need to roll with 14 forwards who all get ice time? These guys play 20 min/night on their NHL teams. Babcock splits the minutes from lines 1 - 4 as 16, 14, 12, 10 with the 19th and 20th skaters seeing 7-10 minutes. It should be 17, 16, 15, 12. Fuck the extra forwards.

This, exactly. I hope this is repeated over and over until Babcock figures it out.

They have one more game to figure it out...if they don't I guess it wouldn't be so bad cheering on Kessel and JVR in the finals haha.

They are not playing like a team. They've had a bunch of shots on goal but it just doesn't look right.

Also, Rask is playing really well so no easy goals coming to the Russians.
