I've always been a huge kessel fan...i defended the deal when burke made it with boston and i still like the deal to this day.

The JVR deal with the flyers is a deal that literally built the leafs forward group, we dumped a bottom pairing slow dman for a top line, 2nd overall powerfoward who's proving he's part of the best top line in the NHL.

now dont get me wrong, there are parts of the leafs i dont like (reimer) but we have Bernier now so i think our goaltending is solid going forward.

Either way, we have a fun/young team and they have amazing chemistry
