Fasching ... A steal of a pick Pre-emptive apology for the subsequent slow jerk-off. Glad he's away from the LA system's ridiculous depth.
Big kid, was inconsistent in his draft year (came in as a potential 1st rounder. Power foward, decent defensively. Red flag was (is?) the lack of consistency. Good skill. Solid skater, he's like 6'2" 215lbs. Good along the boards, drives the net really well. Isn't stupid either. Good program too for hockey development. played in the juniors with USA, did well. Once again though, it's his inconsistency that was his draw back. Upside is 2nd liner, obvious risk to the kid. Fell to 4th round, projections pre-draft was late 2nd to 3rd rounder range. He's had a good year since then.
