Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
Kinda worried about how we are tracking picks now. Both pages are out of date and this is our sole means of tracking.
Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
Yes, we have the roster submission spreadsheets that Mike made, but the main page where they are being tracked is out dated.

is no one in charge of looking after this??Lee wroteCOLONYes, we have the roster submission spreadsheets that Mike made, but the main page where they are being tracked is out dated.

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
I have a system of tracking all this...I know I'm a couple weeks behind because of the holidays. It's usually a one day process to get caught up...probably should have time this weekend to get caught up. I have a spreadsheet that I track what every thread is on this message board and I note whether it is a trade that involved a draft pick. When I'm not up to date, I know exactly where I left off because all new threads are in numeric order.
I have my web pages that show the 2014, 2015 and waiver picks and the trade trackers on the message board for each draft that I update and then I have something where I keep track of everyone's Google doc...I have a link to everyone's draft page. I will probably do another check of everyone's Google pages in and around the Olympic break if I don't get to it this month. Unfortunately, not everyone keeps good records of their picks so that's why I have to jump in and be the draft pick ombudsman.

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
Scott handles this for the league. We should all be very great full - and do your own part keeping google doc up to date

I can help out, if you like.

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
I don't know why I have to repeatedly remind people of what I'm doing here...I've been doing this for the last two years. Luckily when the CBS fiasco happened and we had to drop the draft pick placeholders, I'd been staying on top of this all along so we didn't lose a beat. My beef is that some here still are not great at tracking all their assets using the Google doc. To me, that should've made this easier for everyone. I shouldn't to do what I'm doing but we don't have 30 GMs that are flawless in their tracking of their players and picks.

I appreciate the offer but I'm good. It's not the most convenient thing to update every day and I don't like getting more than a week behind. I know fell behind early in December but like I said, I can get caught up in a day.

So for the lottery do we just follow what the NHL does, i.e. whomever finishes 6th last is paired with me, and I pick where ever they do in the draft?

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
Even with the Fantrax migration...we're still doing the drafts on here, right?
After the lottery, I'll start to put together the draft tracking version of my site. Have they announced the lottery date? Obviously, the playoff results will dictate the last 16 picks as well.

Yup...we follow the lottery but our playoff results dictate the picks 15-30...we won't the Stanley Cup playoffs.
