Re: Weather
Oh yea, no problems here. Supposed to get 70-80 km'h gusts. Not as bad as near coast. I would say Western NS will get the hardest hit.

Re: Weather
Yep, SJ and Moncton will also get slammed. Difference between NS and NB is that NS had no snow on the ground before this. NB has this:

we are closest to Gagetown. thats alot of snow on the ground for March. Flooding will be a major concern when spring actually arrives.

Re: Weather
So...we got another 45 cms last night. Just fantastic. 350 cms so far this season. Banks in my yard are 15 feet high. So high my 13 hp snowblower cant go that high anymore. Getting just fucking ridiculous here...
Re: Weather
i'll take some when i get home of my yard...its an endless circle of gas wasting. snowblow, bank builds up, then avalanche, recycle repeat. Roads in my area still arent plowed. Flatbed truck stuck sideways on my road, went back way and Jetta abandoned in middle or road. Highways closed cause bunch of transports are stuck in snow from last night. Schools cancelled for 2nd day. Happy Easter!
Heres NS NB border atm.

Re: Weather
i've been there a few times in my life.
Re: Weather
See central NB. Notice the color of snow depth. 150 cms to 250 cms on ground.
Re: Weather
hahah I was going to say your stories were reminding me of SSM days... sure enough they are right there in the 150-250 club.
Really enjoying the weather here in Victoria today.

Re: Weather
It just blows my mind that a 1.5 km drive South, there is no snow. That would be normal out your way heading up to the Rockies, but we are talking about an elevation difference of 400 ft.
Re: Weather
Can only imagine what that is like. This time last year we had a warm stretch and it got to a high of 25 for a few days.
Re: Weather
I feel like there's an April Fool's joke somewhere in here... however I have no weather complaints.
