unless it benefits you, then you believe all of it ;)

i'm assuming my rant on randy and love for clarkson you 100% believe,,,it was a great sales pitch for you. That said, what i said is the truth. Henrique is good, but desharnias is better IMO

I quite honestly dont let other peopls opinions on players effect mine. Whether or not you like clarkson or not never changed my opinion on him.

The only thing descharnais has on henrique is a few fow and 6 more points. Henrique is younger, playing pretty much on the same level as descharnais now and he has higher upside imo.

naw

car sales are greesy fuckers, i'd actually say that's closer to your style.

i'm more of a 'lets help set you up long term and sell you some RRSP's (prospects)' in return your investment will help me now and you long term.

brockbirds wroteCOLONConsider the Phoenix Coyotes open for business. Everyone is available, I’m happy to at least listen on them all. Trade freeze until the 10th, but this gives everyone an idea who’s available.

Of Note:
Adam Henrique
Michael Ryder
Justin Abdelkader
Jaromir Jagr

Zdeno Chara
Mark Streit
Eric Brewer
Sami Salo

Unlikely to Move:
Drew Doughty
Ben Bishop (+ system)
1st Pick

No fire-sales here— I’m not looking to finish last next year.

Cheers
Bumping this to page two for brock as I helped hijack the thread and all..

Dan Boyle + Jordan Eberle + David Desharnais for Drew Doughty + Adam Henrique + Sami Salo

Don't see how that gets turned down

That's definitely not you on the forum. You're a car salesman for terrible offers. Which is different than talking to you on Skype/PMs.

Also - I don't buy the fact that you actually help people long term. Most trades you make are home runs for you for a reason.

You're more like a serial rapist that buys his victims flowers so they feel okay about it.

Haha naw. I think the last trade I said that for was the Brian Little for Lucic + Etem trade. But if it helps you win this year, fuck, totally worth it.

Also - I think my analogy is spot on. The number of people that vehemently defend the fact that you actually make fair deals is crazy. It's actually a really interesting case study in relationship marketing. Your approach to trades from day 1 has always been building relationships. And after all these years you're seeing the massive return on investment now that you're in the finals and you and mike have the two best/deepest teams on top of it all.

Building relationships is the key to success, in real life, fantasy, sports, etc....

so many people in this would could be successful but they lack a personality and the ability to work with others.

That said, i actually think i offer very competitive offers to 95% of the league. There are a few guys that i just dont make offers too, but that's simply because i dont enjoy trading with a select few. Nothing more, nothing less, and it doesn't mean i dont like or dislike that person, i'd just rather not have to try and work out a deal.

Didn't know I referred to myself as Fair-Deals-Nick...

however, to quote my most recent deal:
1.
The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONseems like a fair deal.
or a few other recent versifiers just for fun :

2.
cliff11 wroteCOLONsolid deal all around
3.
hong57 wroteCOLON so it's a win-win-win situation!!
and the trade before that one:
4.
SuperMario wroteCOLONlol rape for Pete
before that:
5.
The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONsolid deal

So... from a wide range of GMs, including you in 2 of the past 6 trades, the actual deals themselves have been viewed as fair, except for one that the it was a no-brainier for Pete.

I've made 10 deals with "fair deals" and they have helped shape my team. Don't think any were bad, but who knows what the future holds. I will concede many other deals I see do seem like home runs for him.
