2014 NHL Entry Draft

Post by The BBKL Insider »

for us fans who dont have a team in the playoffs, who do you want your team to pick with their first pick?

for me:

DalColle to Cgy
Ehlers OR Virtanen to Tor.

Stay away from inconsistant Ritchie

meh, you'll be here soon enough. 6 games or less for your team.

At 8 I would like Ehlers. If he's not there I would consider McCann/Kapanen or to trade back a couple spots and grab nylander if possible

i agree with this

This would be my wish list at 8 (as bob mckenzie said the top 5 wont fall and there is quite a seperation between the top 5 and 5-10)

For me:
1) Virtanen
2) Ehlers
3) Ritchie

Leafs have lots of Ritchie types in the system I'd rather Haydn Fleury to him

what's fluery's upside?

i see he's tall, and the 2nd ranked dman, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of consensus about how he will develop. He seems to be a mystery.

the key to drafting well is to always take mystery player.

I honestly don't know enough about this draft to know who the Leafs should take. I do know that after Ekblad there aren't many d-men ranked in the Top 10. So should the Leafs take a forward?
