Salary Cap 2014/2015

Post by tyler »

I notice on cap geek that the cap is projected to be $71,100,000. Does anyone know if this is confirmed or just suspicion? If it is in fact true, could you(Mike) please change our off season spread sheet to the correct Salary Cap value. I tried to edit my own but it is a protected sheet and dont have allowance to edit. thnx

Once cap out I'll have a new spreadsheet to put out. In the meantime please create an "Off Season" tab to use.

Other questions:

Will be be limited to 50 contracts?
Will we allow sliding contracts?
Will we be limited to 90 overall players?

We have a list of items to be discussed this summer, the CC will update as each decision is made, hopefully we'll also have a summary document if not a new CBA. But remember that this is tweeks to a good thing, nothing is broken- and a reminder that is likely worth mentioning as well, the CC is a group of fairly consistent guys who avoid the peak/valley attention to the BBKL, so just because you (no one in particular) care 150% right now doesn't mean the CC is moving any faster. Having a good discussion before making a change is worthwhile, as the ebb and flow of the league would have decisions going back and forth every single year.
