I agree.

to this point he's probably earned a steve mason contract. 12 mil X 3

Unless he has top 3 goalie stats I dont think hes a 6 mil goalie yet. I'm also not bashing bernier. I really like him a lot and im positive he's our number one goalie for the next 10 years

Brassard gets $25 million over 5 years...Stepan is going to be pricey.

meh... going rate for 2C's. Sather didn't really think he was gonna get him for less? Not to many NHL teams paying their 2C less than $5M

Are we trading Reimer to the jets or what?

Is Alfie returning to the Wings?

Weird to think that in back to back July 1st's the sens have lost their captain.
I think Nonis is trying to sign Winnik, it's what i'm hearing anyways.

I believe Murray is trying to trade for one of Sharp or Chris Stewart (if not both)

Reimer may be traded, but the price wont be high, the belief is nonis wants a 2nd, jets offering a 3rd.

Alfie will resign with Det (most likely)

Leafs will continue to shop Franson for a similar deal to the Gorges one. id guess they go after Johnny O out of Chi
WInnik signs with the Leafs.

Great moves by the Leafs this Offseason. Have built a bottom 6 that can play.

depth/bottom six has definitely been improved.

defense has been slightly improved.

goaltending should be fine.

top 6 we didn't touch - could bite us.

Achilles heel will be 1C as always. Show me a team that won the cup without a bonified #1C??

Yep Steve is legit. Don't be surprised to see him step down from his scout position and replace Bob Mackenzie in the future

That 2000 team had the A-Line (Elias-Arnott-Sykora), a young Gomez was at the top of his game and Holik was a stud shutdown guy.
