taking it from another thread:

I left for a week of vacation and forgot to notify in the dedicated thread. I thought it was not a problem as i was going to have web access through my mobile.
Things didn't go exactly as expected.
On the 2nd and last day on the seaside, my mobile was stolen.
Moved on the mountains, it started raining all the time and my gf mobile lost connection save for some moments .
I got a new mobile but the idiots at my provider sent the new card to the wrong address.
The night before coming back home i had a car accident hitting a small deer. Car not working anymore. Because of festivities, only tomorrow i should be able to have someone working on it... can't come back until it is at least partially repaired.

I was finally able to come back (albeit the car body is still messy) and I've resumed my BBKL activity as a result.. I guess helping things get back to looking normal was Anton no replying the PM i sent to him.

sorry this weekend is crazy for me. i've got my squirts (novice) in a labor day tournament in anaheim plus i've gotta be at my rink all weekend because we're re-painting the lines and logos. im pulling 12-14 hour days all weekend.

What's up guys. Still kicking around...nice to see people are up to new things. Side note, Anton - did you end up getting a ring for LAK's win?

Also - I just moved to downtown Toronto. Going great so far, like 5 mins from work and real sports so should be a fun Leafs season. Other than that, lots going on at work so been crazy busy + I'm trying to run some side projects/working on an idea for a consulting company for creating internet products.

We should do one of those rapid fire rounds that Steve used to start with 4-5 questions for people to answer.

no ring. even the full-time office staff had to pay like $500 for it, but i wasn't even offered.

i did get a package from them a couple weeks after we won with a team signed stick blade, richards signed puck, and a team photo with a personalized thank you from Luc though. plus ill always have my credential as proof.

Sold my Porsche, bought a 2nd house, doing some reno's, too many weddings (not over yet either) , & been busy helping my parents get ready for a 3+ year sailing trip (in the boat we just finished building). Next week it's back to the work desk for a few long days - this past week off was amazing, but still way too busy. I need a cottage.

Sold my Porsche, bought a 2nd house, doing some reno's, too many weddings (not over yet either) , & been busy helping my parents get ready for a 3+ year sailing trip (in the boat we just finished building).
