taking it from another thread:

I left for a week of vacation and forgot to notify in the dedicated thread. I thought it was not a problem as i was going to have web access through my mobile.
Things didn't go exactly as expected.
On the 2nd and last day on the seaside, my mobile was stolen.
Moved on the mountains, it started raining all the time and my gf mobile lost connection save for some moments .
I got a new mobile but the idiots at my provider sent the new card to the wrong address.
The night before coming back home i had a car accident hitting a small deer. Car not working anymore. Because of festivities, only tomorrow i should be able to have someone working on it... can't come back until it is at least partially repaired.

I was finally able to come back (albeit the car body is still messy) and I've resumed my BBKL activity as a result.. I guess helping things get back to looking normal was Anton no replying the PM i sent to him.

sorry this weekend is crazy for me. i've got my squirts (novice) in a labor day tournament in anaheim plus i've gotta be at my rink all weekend because we're re-painting the lines and logos. im pulling 12-14 hour days all weekend.

ill take a look after monday.

yup, we're from NS, we've been in Alberta/Sask for 4 years.

Made our cash, time to go home.

Wife leaves tuesday and i'm driving across the next day. Will take 4-6 days to drive (depending on how long i take each day)

since 2 weeks ago monday. Wife got a call from her old office and was offered her old job back, so in 1 day i quit my job, then was offered to work remotely from NS, we put our home on the market - SOLD, hired a moving company and in the process of switching everything back to NS (insurance, investments, etc..)

she's been a stressful 2 weeks.

Congrats on getting out of Alberta Steve. I just did 4 months, couldn't imagine 4 years. I don't think I will make my way to that side of the rockies again!

4-6 day drive = fall is a good time to do it!
