so often you look at the bad teams and wonder how the hell they can have such a poor roster and still no 1st round picks.

this is how. there is no reason a 1st rounder should be added here. it's poor management.

also, you posted that package 2 hours ago - it was a good one that garnered some good offers. why would you not wait for the rest of the league to see it. i feel like this deal was made with very little thought.

Jarnkork alone is worth more then Pearson, I was hoping to see the 1st going to Paul, hahah, not leaving. Ribby & Roy are on 1 year deals, IMO only reason Calle isn't top 6 already is so they can be selective with his minutes/opposition, opposite of the Oilers philosophy of throwing the kids to the wolfs, sink or swim, etc.

This is basically how I feel as well, C's are typically worth more than W's in our league, and while I am not a huge Jarn fan like some seem to be I think the value of the two 1-1 would be close....adding a 1st on top seemed excessive...especially to Mike, who holding my 1st is likely to land McDavid this year anyways.
