Monday block: Zett & Streit

Looking to free at least 3M in salary today.

Streit is the most probable guy to be sacrified, but with Timonen out and the new injuries in the Flyers D corp his overall contribution is only going to grow further, and he is producing at a PPG pace already. Still on top of his game and signed for 2 more yrs after this season...
So, i'll listen to other ideas as well, and only for today Zetterberg will be made available as well.

IMPORTANT:
on top of the salary reduction, the deal can not bring me more players than I give cause I'm already at the limit (90).

The preference would be a winger providing decent peripheries, but the main goal is cutting salary without losing (too much) value.

with the state of the Flyers defense Streit is probably going to post some of the best numbers among off defensemen this year.. it's the kind of deal that could make sense, but i have to like the player coming back a little better than Savard

Well i understand ur argument. However savard at that cap hit produces quite decently and hes always just been getting better yearly. So i figure the cap u save wud equal to some stat production dip in ur sale. Lemme know. U cant lose cap and win stats bro

I do have a deal in place involving Streit, but i'm getting quite the rape there, so i'll wait for better options (and a couple of GMs replies) before roster lock.

Zetterberg is on the block for a couple more hrs btw
