staal is always a risk because he'll never be easy to move with the contract, and it's only going to get harder as time passes.

this is probably going to be a long term commit to staal for me simply because i doubt ill ever get full value for him in a trade...unless of course that rumored deal to the leafs actually happens.

i do like getting bogo for an unproven/injured murray though

I'd think the Krejci + offer Billy made could be pretty good value depending upon the +.

Yeah, this years top 2 picks are insane. Would be a shame if one of the top BBKL teams manage to get their hands on either. They both have franchise changing abilities.

It's not like Nashville or St Louis are Toronto or LA. They are 4th and 8th in the western conference, respectively. 12th and 16th in the league.

i understand Staals contracts but only elites will receive contracts like this.. caps going up so it's going to be better and he is an all-star.. i'd always trade ennis and nik for an all star all day everyday
