If teams are making deals that are so good they are frustrated teams are turning them down then make them public. I agree with Paul with that you have to give to get and maybe part of the problem is some of the bottom teams have better GMs so it is harder to take advantage of them and they have plans and are sticking to them.

Sure the sell job on Ribeiro went on a little long, but when you inherit Anaheim's shit roster with no decent futures or picks you have to try and maximize assets and Ribeiro actually is very valuable due to his 1M cap and the production he provides.

I also think the league is pretty healthy and seems to have replaced a couple weak GMs with strong active ones.

Some of the offers I get sent to my inbox are absolutely fucking disgusting and completely insulting.

I agree, but it has been that way from day 1 for me and Shiv was the worst. It's a competitive league and all teams want to improve their teams, even Mike with his huge pool of top prospects, waiver exempt NHLers and picks isn't likely to cut someone good deal and is going to try and pay as little as possible to get as much as possible so for a weaker team to do the same doesn't surprise me.

Trades happen when teams needs either match up well or when two teams agree on value and can compromise to allow both teams to get what they want. I've made a lot of deals with Steve and at times his offers are annoying when he does his play dumb schtick and undervalues your player or makes outrageous claims about his guys, but our deals are almost never a first offer. We both have players we want or won't move and eventually one gives a little on their price or you find common ground.

One of the best parts of BBKL is the huge trade volume, which is not found in other keeper leagues.

thing about that is tho kapG why u even let those disgusting offers get u mad? like matt said all new guys dealing with shiv was pretty annoying (me included and even gave in several times back in 2011-2012 only to make a complete fool out of myself) but thats sorta what i consider training stage... we all had to get thru it and ur probably one of the exemplary guys out here that only "makes deals you need" to improve ur roster to playoff calibre. U shud take some time to advise these clueless shit-offer guys not to make enemies and be selective with ur offers and needs

I don't really let them get me mad. I haven't in a while but that doesn't make them any less brutal lol.

Its not like I go and cuss people out either when they are sent...

Anyways I've said enough on the subject. Its not s huuuuge deal or anything.

so.. Methot late scratch tonight meant Cowen got back in and brought Josh 2 more hits that made me lose that stat once again, also Dats, Zett, Nyquist, Karlsson and Vatanen failed to produce the needed 1 PPP, but at least I tied FW and with Bob finally bringing in the points I got a much needed win.

Pretty good matchup Josh, those stats battles made it interesting to follow.

Still 6th in my division, the gap between 1st and 6th reduced even more, 15 pts LOL, never seen anything like that
