A while back I've noticed anton (this isn't even a personal jab at him merely a past observation) talkin up a shit storm about how shoalzie had a horrible team. No matter how many mistakes he has made in bbkl roster related decision hes a class act. You see, I can't do that. Shoalz just simply doesn't say a peep about it and ignores it. Hell, I've even seen him be humble about it in response, saying yA... I didnt make the mlber decisions in the past blah blah WJAT THE FUCK?? I read some of the shit anton said in mutiple occasions in different times poking at his Gm-Ship and whether or not he belongs in this league, and I AM the one who got mad. How can someone talk about someone this way? Even in online? We are a community. It was also at the same time, noted that antons comments were such harsh, yet full of truth, that I swore to myself I'm NEVER gonna let someone talk to me this way for as long as I'm in this league. Make every effort to win/lose deals throughout and certain someone decided that it was cool for them to make a little inside joke on Steve being my parent club because I lost some deals 'badly' and a few lame lemmings found it interesting to follow that up constantly. I've been bullied throughout my middle school for being a minority in a predominantly white town and that grew me into a ball of fire that tackled them to the point of hospitalizing a kid with a depressed hyoid bone. I wont ever accept being a part of someones riidiculed dunce of an inside joke, publicly letting me know I'm the centre of attention for it. Online or offline, u won't see the end of me. Just know and maybe u guys can somewhat see why I'm a one hundred percent different person when I receive the same goddamn joke I receive in every CAR/LAK showdown.

that's fair. i have no problem with you responding back to people making the farm team jokes about you lol. if you feel insulted you shouldn't just take it. it just seems like you always act like you know more than everyone else in this league yet in reality your team isn't good yet. i'm not saying mine is much better, but i don't act like i know better than everyone cuz clearly based on the standings i don't.

I wouldn't dare talk shit to LAK/BOS/CHI/TOR, As they all know how to win. NSH Is like tthe biggest joke cuz hes actually the resident 'holier than thou' fucker of bbkl. Mike? Well dunno... Sometimes dude seems ok, tries real hard to make the most complicated and nerdy jokes into something we can all enjoy, but some days just rubs me off the wrong way. However in the end because he knows how to build a 'close' to winning team I somewhat respect him.

Also tbh u shudnt dwell so much on standings bro because our league has been washed thru so many fuckin noobs coming in and out, that the league as a whole, have some increased knowledge on what the winning formula is now. Some still don't get it and some just simply chooses to tank. Of those, the majority still are going for the win. It's gonna take years more before u begin to see standings take a dramatic change because the middle pack teams 2 yrs ago are much stronger now than they were before without looking back. Also top tier teams are soooo much more stronger from continually buying stats for futures. The funnel only works for so long until more and more number of top teams will give up, but wont happen over 2 yrs. Making it to the playoffs might be possible for one lucky eastern conference team this yr because billys out of the contention. It's slow but the change will come man. Dont shoot anyone down cuz of standings. It's not an accurate representation of all of our gm skills/team build. It's just simply because of lack of changes from top tier teams within a division making it hard for any improving teams to flash any notice/attention. It's just math man.

lol alright, that's why i said i wasn't sure if you were trolling or actually serious lol. ya it's way different of a league now than it was when it first started. everyone knows what type of players are good and they are all cautious about getting killed in deals. way different than before where the people who 'got it' first were able to take advantage (and they deserve the success for being quicker to learn than everyone else). one thing i find weird now though is the crazy demand for young players lately. it was like this in the beginning but it's back and it's sad that players lose value for simply being born 30 or more years ago lol.

look at my deals recently and consider me a changed man. Just purchased spezza sedin hartnell michalek phillips all over 30. Some of those guys are pretty one-dimensional unfortunately because complete H2H 30+ guys are still kinda expensive so I try to make do. However I'd say this is the best decision ever made since my BBKL career.

on the other hand, I'd say YOU are the one who set that young player boner standard unfortunately whether you like it or not. Why i say this?...

And you're able to get top offensive centers for a decent price because of it. Don't get me wrong, I'm just as guilty as anyone for only wanting young players but my team does suck and needs assets that can potentially grow in value.

this is partially what I've done with Murray Gaudreau 1st CAR over this year. Eakin Muzzin Stanton are your less attractive "young assets" on paper in the league, but I'm pretty sure I'll get rewarded for holding onto them because they've proven thsemselves in the NHL level and continue to produce quality stats. Waiting game is boring.

Its not that bad of a trade but i think people trade young defenseman around here too much and too early. They always take longer to develop. By moving them you are throwing out the upside for immediate stats which may or may not be the best move. Each person will have differing opinions on this.
