Re: Trade: DET-MIN
Had to unload a contract with the Bryzgalov signing this week so I figured I'd try to upgrade a player rather than just trade a guy for a draft pick. A benefit for Hong is Colborne being waiver exempt so he's got more depth now...and of course, he's gets the backup for Holtby.
Another positive for me is that Peters hasn't played much lately so hopefully I'll get some games from Bryz. Nabokov seems to get one start each week.
I think it's a win-win.

the thing is... i think it is yet to be determined if Palmieri is going to be an upgrade over Colborne?Shoalzie wroteCOLONHad to unload a contract with the Bryzgalov signing this week so I figured I'd try to upgrade a player rather than just trade a guy for a draft pick.

Hits are about even. Colborne does play some center so he'll get draws and he does kill penalties some times. Points are pretty even...maybe slight edge to Palmieri and he shoots a lot more and actually scores goals.
