Re: Wingers
It's easy to trade. It just has to be with the same circle of guys. For me it's mike, paul, billy, fraser, matt
Re: Wingers
ya, because getting zetterberg+3rd for callahan and a late first would have not been fair...CAM wroteCOLONLol, i dont even want a good deal, just fair.Arian The Insider wroteCOLONya i honestly feel like nobody wants to give him a good deal hahaThe BBKL Insider wroteCOLONI feel for cam. Re: Wingers
Wasnt specifically referencing your offer Mik. You feel Zetterberg will have more longevity than Callahan and the guy is 5 years older. I do not share that mentality, hence i did not feel i should be the one adding a first rounder. If the offer was you adding a late first and me adding a 3rd that would probably make more sense to compensate for the age difference. Anyways, Im not winning any FOW battles withthout some major moves so I'll just roll with who i got i guess. Sorry to disrupt your block.

that's not what i said:CAM wroteCOLONWasnt specifically referencing your offer Mik. You feel Zetterberg will have more longevity than Callahan and the guy is 5 years older.
"i would not do this deal to feel better long term, cause considering the way they play i'm not sure Callahan has more years of effectiveness left than Zett despite the age difference... "
I don't know why lately people around here feel like putting words i have never said or written in my mouth

I guess the fact Zetterberg is easily the better player should not be considered
Re: Wingers
I guess not but maybe his proven history of back problems and higher salary should be...
If you compare there numbers this year, I would argue against "clearly the better player". Callahan is a top line winger playing with Stamkos. Hard to argue against that.

Re: Wingers
Id take callahan over zetts this year. Younger, cheaper, less injury prone. Let alone add a 1st.
Re: Wingers
yes, in fact that's what makes Callahan valuable this year but who knows in the future.. his numbers are a by-product of where he plays, which is something contingent, whereas Zetterberg generates his own production, which means that is not dependent on where he plays.CAM wroteCOLONI guess not but maybe his proven history of back problems and higher salary should be...

cheaper... like 200k differenceThe BBKL Insider wroteCOLONId take callahan over zetts this year. Younger, cheaper, less injury prone. Let alone add a 1st.
less injury prone... this year Callahan has missed 5 games, Zetterberg none.
Over the last 5 seasons, Zetterberg has played 284 games, Callahan has played 273 games.
so what's left? yeah, Callahan is younger. Both signed long term though.
