Pernell Karl Subban - #76 in your program, #1 in your heart.

Post by Shep »

Alright, he's been on the block for ages. I have yet to get an offer that will suffice. Maybe with time passed and teams leveling out, I'll get an adequate deal now.

I am looking for depth. Not aging depth (maybe 1 old man), not awful 3rd line depth. I want forwards and dmen that will contribute. I can afford to hold on to him, but the depth is a bit crucial for me moving forward, so I'm willing to listen.

At this point, barring an extreme overpayment, prospects and picks are of ZERO interest.

The ultimate offer would be a Top 6 centreman + a Top 4 dman that produces across the board (not talking about a Stephane Robidas here). I don't care if you don't like my asking price, considering some of the deals that have been rejected from others, it's obvious that nobody likes PK Subban.

Yes, he's 9 million. I can take back equal salary maybe a little bit more. I don't need to dump him for salary reasons, injuries and lack of a farm team require depth. Waiver exempt players are even better, but not a requirement.

Offers made in this thread will be treated as jokes, so PM me anything you're serious about. And I will also ignore "what do you like from my team?" PM's. Send me offers that we can work on.

I don't even remember your offers. Figured they were Robidas + Glendenning.

If I had rich amount of assets I'd consider moving krejci + muzzin but losing a centre for a single dman is just unfathomable to any sort of contenders

Centers are way overvalued in here. Get rid of FOW cat and have everyone as Forward or D. If we move to new system id like to see that cat dropped.

why? we have molded a big pile of rules around centers. positional changes and eligibility, roster sizes by position all for one category, FOW. Why the fuck does a third line center hold more value than a top line winger?

For an old man, you are right on the button. The league revolves around centres.

Sounds like someone got burned by couture/ott moving to half centre and unable to dominate fow category all yr and is sour as ffuk lol

Its ok bro.. I know the frustratio... HHowever fow is one of the most interesting categories out there and takes a true hockey watcher to play the fow prediction/game. I'd quit bbkl instantly personally if fow was taken out. Fow categoryallows u to watch hockey in a totally different pperspectives and even tend to assign iimaginary skill 'value' to a player whos exceptionally good at fow in real life. Watching every draw excites me

Lol Couture is a winger taking faceoffs so dont know what angle you are going for there. This argument has been around even before your time in BBKL. You prove to me that a third line center in this league does not hold more value than a top line winger. I dont have this opinion from my team perspective only. Soderberg, Couture and Iginla all take faceoffs in the W position. I am speaking from a league perspective and challenging your opinion on center value.

Ok ill be serious for a sec.
Whats the obsession about making all position skaters into "same value"?... How does that help us in achieving authenticity and mirroring nhl league?... In REAL LIFE bro gms value forwards/centres way more than dmen... Whats that Roy dudes famous quote prior to drafting Mackinnon over Jones?..."____ are more valuable than dman"??

I don't give a shit about how long u have been pushing for this change bro the point is its a silly concept of understanding of our competitiveness. of course I believe centres shud be worth more than dmen in real life OR fantasy. Forwards than dmen in general as well. Otherwise this league wud be in some wishy washy espn daily pickup type shambles. So of course it gave me a skewed impression that u were mad about ur teams inability to constantly take fow category on a weekly basis. Sorry that I assumed tho ;/

Centers and FOW make the league more strategic - I like it. And Centers are more important in the NHL so why not in BBKL.
