I'd do the same for anyone in the league when someone says stupid things. Plus thom's my buddy so even more incentive.

For that matter, please review everyone who has ever had 3 goalies playing on week and edit the best statistical goalies into those weeks as the active goaltenders.

And yes. I am kidding. More, being facetious. Personally I think it's bullshit that I can't dress whoever I want in net.

Maybe I heard a hot tip from insider Paul Kim stating that Drew McIntyre was being called up and Cam Ward was injured.

haha... if you were arguing why Van didn't put Zepp in his lineup when it was obvious Mason was out for this week... I think you'd have a solid argument there. eh Competition committee?

you would have the chance of explaining your decision and indeed have McIntyre in your lineup if proven right.

Meh i mean, i just personally don't try to get this petty with tryin to be "strategic" with goalies...
I mean, if u have a completely sane and competent tandem I wudnt think twice about dressing them weekly. why do u have to be so scroogy about it? Besides, we as a league have discussed many many times on occasion about guys intentionally benching a part of their goalie system to hope for a condensed one start a week wipe out victory. Guess what, not all goalies in nhl are elite, and it's easier for certain select guys who own the top 5 goalies to do this.. And yes it is an abuse of the system because a guy who owns a Buffalo tandem don't have such luxury of a luck or risk to take by doing something like that

Please have whomever owns Rob Zepp post a 1000 word essay on why the decided to not dress him over an obviously injured goaltender, in fairness to the rest of the league.

Don't think so, but has been shit of late... not dressing Zepp isn't a winning approach IMO, but not for me to decide. Also don't think Fraser posted his roster in the weekly lineup thread and with all of his travelling he may have been unexpectedly away from the computer. He's been real good about dressing his best lineup all season so I doubt he intentionally did this... IMO.

... haha Fraser - a pre-emptive sorry for shitting on your doorstep with this ;)

So maybe a rule should be made that 2 goalies must be dressed every week. NHL teams never only dress one goalie. I think thats a fair argument.

Emery could easily have (or could have had, works the same) better stats than Zepp this week, so I don't think anyone could claim it's a blatant move for the worst..

Drew McIntyre could of had better stats than Cam Ward.

But nope.. Just got another rule made instead.

OK, its bullshit that you can dress goalies that won't play, so that you can lose 4 cats every week? That's exactly what you did last season Lee, just so you could tank. Where is the integrity in that?

makes lots of sense.....
