I don't understand the heat for Thom and Lee when numerous teams explicitly say they are tanking each year, and make trades to worsen their position? Pete did that for years for Dallas and has quite a few top players on that roster to show for it

My team is better for NOT dressing Hutton when he puts up shitty stats. He's on my bench. Next week, he'll be active to try to keep afloat. I'm doing it to be a better team ... aka opposite of tanking. Which I also have no problem with on an individual basis. If the rules allow it, don't blame the player for utilizing them. Change the rules.

there's really no way to stop tanking but i guess people want tanking teams as competitive as possible. i knew i would be tanking this season but i've always put my best lineup possible unless obviously a guy is hurt. i don't really care either way.

also i don't get the heat on thom either because having rinne alone actually gives him better stats. rinne is a starter and why would thom even attempt to tank when he's a clear playoff team lol.

Fiala reassigned from HV71. Rushing him as well.

Trading for players that suck to get a higher pick should be fair. The person who does this will have to actively re-build their team.

Not dressing your best line-up should not be fair. That person could stash talent in the minors while also already having even a playoff calibre team.

Not dressing both your goalies can actually help stats. i dressed dubnyk and sat smith because smith was getting a 5 gaa every game while dubnyk was playing well. However, not dressing any goalie eligible to play games both hinders ones own competitiveness, and almost more importantly forfeits points to stronger teams that could affect the playoff situations of teams who care.
