Re: GWT - Week #16
also worth noting... there will be a stupid noon game between Isles and Flyers making the roster lock happening in the morning for those on the West Coast.

Me vs Kimmer! Alright! here's a fun one.
Re: GWT - Week #16 (early roster lock!)
Sabres also don't even play this week leaving two holes in my lineup with Stewart and Zadorov out.

The MLK holiday I assume is why there's the early start on Monday.
Long ASG break...Thursday through next Monday. Week 17 starts next Tuesday.

imo it doesn't make sense that this week is supposed to weigh like regular weeks.Bruyns wroteCOLONSabres also don't even play this week leaving two holes in my lineup with Stewart and Zadorov out.
GWT - Week 16
Anaheim Ducks vs Philadelphia Flyers - PHI wants to get Steamrolled and will attempt any possible tricks to achieve their goal!
Calgary Flames vs New York Rangers - CGY is safe in 3rd PAC but would like a good week to jump SJS. NYR need a strong week to remain an option for the easts wildcard.
Edmonton Oilers vs Washington Capitals - The caps watch the Game of the week closely, as they could be heir to the Metro Division throne. Should be an easy week for Washington.
Los Angeles Kings vs Pittsburgh Penguins - GAME OF THE WEEK The Central and The Metro Division leaders clash! LA has had a few slow weeks - can the pens take advantage?
Arizona Coyotes vs Columbus Blue Jackets - With the late season return of Dubinsky, Columbus hopes for a miracle drive at a late playoff spot. This is one of those matchups with which they must take advantage.
San Jose Sharks vs Carolina Hurricanes - SJS is Falling. CAR is Rising. 2 teams moving different directions, yet at opposite ends of the standings. Where will they end up?
Vancouver Canucks vs New York Islanders - NYI lookin' at some easy pickins'. Vancouver has been reeling lately.
Boston Bruins vs St. Louis Blues - All contenders are Watching to see how the Blues will play with their new goalie upgrade.
Buffalo Sabres vs Nashville Predators - An Important week for both teams as each needs to show they are above the glut of bubble PO teams they currently seem to be hanging around.
Detroit Red Wings vs New Jersey Devils - New Jersey could be a darkhorse if they make the playoffs. IF.
Florida Panthers vs Winnipeg Jets - Winnipeg needs to slaughter this week. They need it bad.
Montreal Canadiens vs Colorado Avalanche - Montreal should be watching the Buffalo matchup. Those two teams could be fighting for 3rd in the Atlantic, and the loser could outright miss the playoffs!
Ottawa Senators vs Chicago Blackhawks - Ottawa exploded Last week. CHI needs them to regress again. Despite CHI's retool, they are in the middle of a pack of teams on the playoff bubble in the west.
Tampa Bay Lightning vs Minnesota Wild - Two B-Contenders in either conference compete. Though no one expects anything from Tampa after his recent moves.
Toronto Maple Leafs vs Dallas Stars - Perhaps the most lopsided matchup of the season.

Can someone tell me why it is considered a loss in a category with GAA if your opponent doesnt have a goalie start in a week? I thought all cats are a loss if no goalies are started?

Ya that should be fixed. And agreed this week is stupid - how are the guys wit BUFF goalies supposed to get goalie stats if NHL teams aren't playing in the week. ASG week and Xmas weeks should really be made 2 week clashes.CAM wroteCOLONCan someone tell me why it is considered a loss in a category with GAA if your opponent doesnt have a goalie start in a week? when did that happen? I think you won that stat vs Anton?CAM wroteCOLONCan someone tell me why it is considered a loss in a category with GAA if your opponent doesnt have a goalie start in a week? I thought all cats are a loss if no goalies are started?
Also, not sure how it works with Fantrax, but teams should not be awarded a W in the SO category unless they do record a shutout.
Re: GWT - Week 16
I just looked at mine and it updated to be correct. It still shows in red like a loss but the math adds up.

Re: GWT - Week 16
those better players have sucked lately, almost lost to Arian, and then most of the week tony was beating me 15-1. I had a decent weekend and barely pulled out the win.Handsome&FairMike wroteCOLONHaha "Thoms friend" - should I change my nickname again? You too big guy. Re: GWT - Week 16
It's a bad week for fantasy but why not get in front of this before the season instead of complaining about it now? We had the schedule for a while and we could've looked into remedies before the season. No sense in complaining now...just roll with it. I agree though that it shouldn't have been an official week when at least one NHL team doesn't even play.
We'll see some unusual results from just 3 games of action...I hope I can steal a few cheap wins against the Devils.
