Thx for backing me up eons of hours later bro

Bump.
A lot of 'vet' offers. As much as I want depth, acquiring multiple players in the 33-40 year old range helps me for the next little while, but value wise I get crushed.
Ask yourself this question when you're making me an offer for PK Subban "Would I accept what I am offering, if I was trading away Subban?" If the answer isn't an obvious yes, than don't waste your and my time.

With everyone in this league pretty much on the same page now, that should be the starting point for every single person. Lowballing and starting in ridiculous spots is not going to work in this league anymore. There are no more easy gms to take advantage of and just because you always won your Yahoo pools, you are no expert in here. We all feel the same way so do everyone a favor and use Sheps question before making trade offers.Shep wroteCOLONBump.

And the reason I say "obvious yes" is because we all value our own players higher than others, so if you wouldn't do it, there is little to no chance that I would either.

not everyone is like this, i still find a few guys to be quite reasonable. I get decent offers from yourself, shep, mike, billy, josh, Chris, Hong, anton, etc...CAM wroteCOLONWith everyone in this league pretty much on the same page now, that should be the starting point for every single person. i'm sure the list could go on a lot longer as well, i actually find the league to becoming quite decent in trade talks. If someone is awful with offers just cut them off. Easy solution.

I wasnt pointing the finger at anyone in particular, i just think that is great advice by Shep that shows respect to all GMS. Kind of relates to the terminology "a good hockey deal"

Great barn to watch hockey in and tickets are cheap (relatively speaking)...kimmer wroteCOLONIt will surely be hype in the Ricoh Coliseum, unless it's a road game
